About Erin Toale:

Erin Toale (she/her) is an artist and curator who resides in the 49th Ward of Chicago, Illinois (please vote). She gets “you look tired!” a lot, and, reader, she is. She spends her free time testing increasingly ambitious recipes, making quilts, working to dismantle systems of oppression, walking her dog Noodles, and tending to a growing number of indoor plants.

For lunch today she had fried rice with avocado, American cheese, and shichimi togarashi. She is the founder and biggest fan of the Empty Bottle Book Club, established 2014.

Erin is ready to edit whatever text you throw at her, but especially enjoys workshopping artist/personal/project statements, short-form (<350 words) project proposals, and galvanizing advocacy texts.
